Kenya Displays Diplomatic Achievements of 2024

Kenya has identified the year 2024 as a year of unprecedented diplomatic gains in a sign of the country’s growing influence on the international scene. The performance highlights were presented by the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs and, Prime Cabinet Secretary Dr. Musalia Mudavadi during a session held at the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs offices in Nairobi.

Building up the bilateral and multilateral cooperation

During the year, Kenya strengthened its multilateral relations through diplomatic diplomacy, led by President Ruto with key landmark initiatives. Notable highlights included:

  • A 15 billion Japanese shillings in the Olkaria Geothermal Project Project.
  • The decision on granting the Kenyan government a status of a major non-NATO Ally of the US in order to increase defense and trade partnership.
